Tube and trains - are they busy?

I could do with popping to London but I’d need to go by train and also to use the tube.

I haven’t been in a few months.

Can anyone advise what it’s like on the tube during the day? I don’t fancy being close to other people.

Thanks

I was last in Central London last week. Both the train and tube were pretty quiet and everyone was able to keep a safe distance from each other.

Travel outside of rush hour and walk as much as you can (I think the streets are quite busy as people are walking more).

No, I’ve been on the Central line earlier today and just now, plenty of space. Everyone is spread out in the carriage.

I commute on the Piccadilly & it’s normally ok. Though there are still pillocks with their masks hanging off their chins.
