Whenever I get chance to watch what I want to watch I always watch medical programmes.
999 what's your emergency
Ambulance
24hrs in A&E
I'm really squeamish but these programmes fascinate me.

I'm the exact same!! Medical documentaries... which I watch while lazing on my arse eating chocolate and drinking wine 😂

GoldenHoops · 18/09/2020 13:39

I love watching Dr. Pimple Popper
Plastic surgery programmes
Cooking programmes
Cleaning programmes

Lightsabre · 18/09/2020 13:49

I love a two hour nap in the afternoon but it plays havoc with my night time sleep.

I do love a sneaky nap.

During lockdown I'd have a bath every night, and sit in it eating Revels whilst listening to podcasts about Bigfoot.

I'd say it kept me sane but that assumes some level of baseline sanity.

I love medical programmes too. I piss DH off diagnosing the patients - I'm not medically trained.

Me : 'Oooh. Looks like a tension pneumothorax and ruptured spleen'

Doc to camera: 'Well. Dave has what we call a tension pneumothorax and it looks like he may have ruptured his spleen'

DH: Angry

Spied · 18/09/2020 14:32

A treat when the DC are in bed. Either chocolate or a cake.
Watching woo on TV.
Buying a posh bath soak or body lotion.

legalseagull · 18/09/2020 14:36

Kiddy computer games on the switch. Colouring in. I'm basically a big 5 year old.

True crime.
I've tried to listen to podcasts about other things on my daily 1.5 hour dog walk, but soon get bored and go back to true crime!

Holothane · 18/09/2020 15:54

Anything with surgery is top of the list.

eBay purchases. We’ve recently moved into our house after a very long time of not being able to live in it and I’ve got some kind of nesting bug. Currently furnishing my kitchen with vintage serving dishes/tea and coffee sets/crockery/cookware and other such accoutrements. They’re only little things but each one makes me so happy (especially the ones that I’ve chosen because they remind me of my grandparents).

imissthesouth · 18/09/2020 17:46

Shopping, I try to spare one day a month to let the kids spend time with the grandparents (if they lived closer it would be more a weekly thing, they are obsessed with my kids) and i can go out with my girlfriends, get some lunch and buy a few new outfits, then go out for a family dinner once I pick the kids up. It really cheers everyone up

Ariela · 18/09/2020 17:49

Pots & co lemon & lime posset. I buy the pack of two and eat one, then see how long I can hide the other at the back of the fridge before I have to eat it..

H1978 · 18/09/2020 17:55

A bit out of the ordinary but when I’m feeling like I’ve put weight on I love watching My 600lb Life on YouTube. It makes me feel a bit better about myself, which makes me sound awful😕

OverTheRainbow88 · 18/09/2020 18:08

Putting my kids into nursery for an extra day on my day off work 😬

BlackLetterDay · 18/09/2020 18:19

I love my 600lb life! Dr nowh is done with everyone's shit Grin awe inspiring when people manage to change too. How the fuck do they all afford massive cars and houses though when they are on disability, always confuses me on American programmes.

This is me too!! I was watching a series called 'Diagnosis' on Netflix (if you haven't watched it, you must!) and I successfully diagnosed at least 2 of them 😂
redhenry · 19/09/2020 05:18

@lilfoxfur I have to watch this

OP posts:
Malin52 · 19/09/2020 05:48

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. So trashy but hugely addictive. It's on local tv at lunchtime so started watching it during my lunch break over lockdown and now I'm obsessed.
