Can I ask for gift suggestions for family with new baby?

My lovely friends have just had their third baby.

They have three under five now and they are going to be busy!

I want to get them something helpful as I'm nowhere nearby and can't offer to babysit or anything and would love some suggestions of what people found useful when they were surrounded by small children Grin.

I have two dcs, but I honestly can't remember.

So far I'm thinking things like:

Fancy chocolate
Stuff to entertain the kids without being too messy...I dunno... toys? Colouring books?
Booze
Bath stuff
Maybe meal kits? Meal deliveries? Not sure where from

A just eat voucher, no prep just an easier meal one night? Nice snacks/chocs. No mess colouring/ etch a sketch if really young so no cleaning up after them?

A Cook voucher or family meal pack delivered to them.
New pyjamas for the kids so they all feel
A bit special
Depending On their age, bake in a mug cupcakes go down a storm and easy for parents to supervise.
A dvd for the kids?

Sort of like a 'family night in' planned prepped for them.

Thanks for these. I love the family night in pack idea!

She loves a magazine as well, so maybe I'll put some of those in.

Definitely Cook or take-away vouchers. There is nothing quite knowing you don’t have to cook after a long and difficult day.

My nieces that age managed the mug cup cakes with supervision. You can get easily on amazon ( great Xmas stocking filler too)

Oh you could add bath bombs too for the kids bath with their new pjs.

Then some wine for mum and dad, and/or peppermint tea.

God - can you send me a pack too? :)

Grin @YoBeaches.

I'm off to the shops today then! Hunting for care package goodies. I'm not sure if they have Deliveroo or Just Eat etc there, but they do have an M&S, for ready meals maybe... will think about that one.

Thanks everyone for your help Flowers.
