As a welcome gift for returning to the office, the nice company I work for has given each of us a water bottle. It's one with a straw built into the top, and you have to keep it upright to drink (which I'm struggling with a bit anyway, as my natural reaction is to tilt it, which means the straw at he bottom is suddenly sucking on air)
Anyway, once I remember to drink from it vertically, I am then faced with problem no. 2. The thing has an air tight seal. So by the time I suck enough for the water to reach the top of the straw, there's such a vacuum I can hardly get any water! And my mouth is also full of the air from thd top of the stsaw, so I'm sure I end up swallowing more air than water.
What am I doing wrong?
