Do CAFCASS ask about other children?

ex has gone to court for more contact with our son. (I always gave him all my days off etc but if it wasnt a weekend he wasnt happy..and i work weekends. Son doesnt want to be anywhere near him alone because he hasnt been around)

Anyways as part of the process CAFCASS will become involved and i wanted to ask those of you who may know, do they ask about other children too?

My ex doesnt know i have a baby with my new partner. Neither does my mum

I dont want to go into that now as ive written a few threads about that. Because of my culture etc ..anyways. i dont want this to be the way my mum and ex find out ive got a baby.

Would CAFCASS just do a report on the child involved ..which is our son? If youve been through this with cafcass and other children in the house, please let me know

I don't know for sure but I think they do. They do a report on the child and who they live with. Each party them get a copy of the report. Cafcass were dreadful when my brother went through a separation.

Yes they do, when ExH and I went through court there was a report and that said that DD is an only child in both homes.
