Does anyone understand PayPal? They have shit down my account.

Not sure if I'm allowed to post about a company. But just really need advice. Decided to try and make abit of money selling a few clothing items on eBay. I haven't used my email or PayPal account in a long time. I couldn't remember my PayPal account login and just ended up setting up a new account.
I have sold some really nice items due to being quite broke at the minute that perhaps I wouldn't really have sold. Anyway I have sent the items had positive feedback etc. For one of the items PayPal put the money on hold. I didn't understand and couldn't speak to anyone. Eventually after going around in circles on their website it looked like I hadn't put enough details on my account so added those. The next thing I get an email from PayPal. They have basically closed down my account due to high risk behaviour or fraud. I do not have a clue what I have done.
I finally got an email response from them that said I have no right to appeal my account it permanently closed and they will send me an email in 180 days in order to get any money owed to me after they have recovered any losses to them.

I have simply sold some items nothing dogey about them just some nice clothing items from Monsoon. They won't even tell me what I have done wrong. My only possible explanation is that I set up a different PayPal account. Has this happened to anyone else. I just want my money owed to me. To make it worse eBay have now contacted me because they tried to take the fees from me today but PayPal obviously stopped the payment. So I now after pay fees on items I still don't have the money for. I have spent a fortune also on shipping.

It probably sounds pathetic but I was in tears. I'm broke at the minute worried about my job. I was just trying to earn abit of money and feel like I'm being treated like a criminal but they won't even tell me what I have done wrong. So that I can correct it or explain.

I doubt even Paypal understand PayPal.

Call them. I have found their customer service to be helpful in the past.

How much money are we talking? I had to go through money laundering checks after buying and selling a car which delayed me buying the damn car for about a week

@SurreyHillsGirl thanks I have tried calling on numerous occasions. It makes you put your details in and then tells you due to Covid there is no one to take your call.
@SoddingWeddings £150

They have literally closed down my account and said it's a final decision and I can not use them again. After this experience I defiantly do not want to use them again. I just want my money off them which it looks like they are holding for 6 months.

This happens to lots of people unfortunately, including bona fide merchants. Something in their algorithm flagged suspicious activity. That can include lots of activity on one account and then opening a new account.
You will get the money in 30-180 days. If I were you I'd put your energy into whatever else you need to do (job applications or extra work somewhere) but don't give this anymore headspace. If you need to make money you need to put your end energy into that.
Even when there isn't a pandemic for an excuse, you would have been highly unlikely to get this overturned.
Don't close the bank account you have attached to this account.

They do have live chat (if it is working) but it sounds unlikely they will reopen your account but they may be able to give a bit more info or if you just want to explain your point of view. Not sure the chat handler will have that authority though or even if you will get access. I am sorry and understand your tears and shock but think you have to move on and just wait patiently.
