Anyone else waiting to hear if they’ve got the job after an interview?

I had an interview yesterday that involved writing and delivering a presentation to a panel of four - I’ve had a phone call today from the recruiter involved to say the final decision has not yet been made, but that the company have narrowed it down to me and one other... I’m so nervous!

Anyone else in the same boat? I think it might even be the worst bit of the process!

Yep, waiting to hear from to potential jobs. One I think I did well in the other I'm not sure.

I hate when companies don't tell you, and leave you hanging.

@Nix2020 Have you been waiting long? When are you expecting to hear back?

Since last Thursday for one job and yesterday for the other. I give it two weeks if I haven't heard I move on.

I've been averaging two interviews a week recently (I'm not great at interviewing) so trying hard not get hung up on it.

I think interviews are like most things, the more you do them the better you get so I’m sure it won’t be long before you get that positive news 🤞🏻

I have been told I will get an answer either way by the end of the week so at least I’ll not be kept hanging if it doesn’t go my way. It’s stressful because positions like the one I had the interview for don’t come up often in my industry, so it might be a while before another opportunity arises if this doesn’t work out.
