I am a first time mum to a beautiful 4 and a half month old girl...she has had a cold now for 3 days (coughing, sneezing, being fussy drinking her milk and being irritable when sleeping) people jump to conclusions saying "I hope its not covid-19.....No it is not I can assure you as I got I'll the same time as her and recovered within 2 days. She has had no temperature at all either.
Atm all she has is a cough and a bunged up nose which I'm using the calpol saline drops for and extracting the junk out with an extractor.
I bought a vicks humidifier which seems to be helping abit. I looked at the vicks baby rub but it says not to use on babies under 6 months however I've still applied a tiny bit to the soles of her feet.....is there any other tips anyone can give me as it's so upsetting seeing my baby struggle to sleep and stay asleep due to this annoying cough she has Sad

There’s a product called Snuffle babe which can be used from 3 months. You can get it as a rub or drops (which work great on a damp muslin on a radiator).

It’s so rubbish when they are poorly. Hope she is feeling better soon.

Oh it’s rubbish isn’t it.

My 3 week old has a horrible cold and is bunged up. She’s too young for anything to help her. Caught it off my 6 year old, she was only back at school a few days before she brought a cold home!
