Hi, posting on here for traffic to see if anyone has any experience in this field?
I’m a bit confused about my DD 15 most recent eye test, she was tested a few weeks ago after complaining of blurred vision on screens etc. Result was optician saying she had a very slight prescription of R +0.75 and L +0.5, he said he wouldn’t prescribe at this prescription.
She went back to school a few days later and has been consistently complaining of struggling to read smaller writing on the board since, she says the letters are blurry. I rung the opticians this morning and asked their advice, initially they said to bring her in to pick glasses to try at that prescription but they rung back and said ‘they are concerned that what she is saying doesn’t make sense at that prescription’ and that they now want to do another ‘visual acuity test’.
Is this something I need to be concerned about?
