Husband has ringworm

My husband has a rash that looks like ring worm. He went to the chemist and they said it looks like ring worm. Most likely he got it doing the garden. He has an antifungal cream for it.

Will I get it too? We're obviously sharing a bed have had lots of skin to skin contact in the days leading up to his diagnosis. I don't have much choice but to sleep in the same bed as him still.

Will I definitely get it too?

Not necessarily, and I wouldn't lose sleep over it. It's easily treatable.

Thanks aquamarine I'm freaking out because I read it can live in certain conditions for 18 months and I'm worried about getting it on my face and scalp.

Already have enough health and skin issues without blood ringworm! Poor DH.

Can you put on fresh sheets every day until he's cleared up? It might make you feel better physiologically.

Dh has recurrent ringworm for years. It clears up with anti fungal cream and then reappears on his arma and legs. Ive never gotten it from him but if I did wouldnt really worry me

My DH had ringworm for years. He'd treat it and it would come back. I never got it.
