Adult party bags.

I have a girls weekend soon for my friends birthday and thinking of putting together a little party bag for them all. So far I have thought:

Face mask
Fluffy socks
Fluffy eye mask
Mini Prosecco
Test tube shots

Scratch card (undecided on this, I remember a thread ages ago where someone one and the brother fell out with the winners)

Any other ideas wise Mumsnetters?

Footmasks (poundshop)
Trolley coin
Hand gel
Lush charity pot cream (small tins are £1)
Lip balm
Hair bobble

Aaarrgghh - stuff! I hate stuff! Especially stuff that adds up to the price of something I might actually want.

Nunyabusiness · 15/09/2020 21:16

Some paracetamol and berocca for the next day

DifficultPifcultLemonDifficult · 15/09/2020 21:18

Presumably ops friends don't hate stuff or op wouldn't be doing it Confused

Chocolate or have a look on etsy, there are loads of handmade, lovely ideas for favours (which could be used for party bags).

Lovely ideas, general spa like things (face masks, hand creams, wine, lip balm etc. Make sure they're fragrance free etc so no one is irritated by them!

HolyForkinShirt · 15/09/2020 21:49

Excellent suggestions! Thank you so much!

My friend will love the the stuff. We regularly buy each other little gifts etc and are always well recieved.

Most of the items will be things to use in the weekend ie. face masks/booze etc.

I would love those OP, can I come haha

Impatientwino · 15/09/2020 22:01

I've just done this (and our upcoming weekend has sadly been cancelled due to the 6+ rule!!) Have put the non perishables in the loft for when we rearrange!

I did the following with the idea that people would use most of it over the weekend and it might be helpful if they forgot anything

Pack of tissues
Vaseline cocoa butter lip balm
Tic tac pillow packs
Alkaseltzer
Eye mask
Hair band
Love hearts
Emery board
Popcorn
Flower garland - fancy dress plastic ones

Am going to add fluffy socks, a miniature drink, hot chocolate sachet and a foot mask for next time!

Enjoy OP

Leave out the scratch cards. I can certainly see it causing a problem if somebody won.

Dowser · 16/09/2020 09:28

Rather than a scratch card, get a lottery ticket each with sanpme numvers
Then if she wins so do you

Dowser · 16/09/2020 09:28

Same numbers

HolyForkinShirt · 16/09/2020 10:16

fantastic ideas @Impatientwino

@Dowser , this is genius, never thought of this before !

Posh chocolates
Mini baileys or prosecco
Face masks (not the covid kind but the skin ones!)
Hand cream or lip balm

Can you make the 'bag' a nice foldable shopping bag?
