Ideas for Zoom celebration for golden wedding

It's my parents golden wedding anniversary next month. There was supposed to be a party but obviously cancelled due to covid.
The plan is to get family together for some kind of Zoom based celebration.... Does anyone have any ideas for how to make it more of an event rather than just a catch up chat?

Everybody gets a drink ready and someone puts music on and you zoom it: maybe people can put balloons up In Their houses . We had a 50th birthday like this with two families together in garden and rest on zoom- with birthday cake and singing in pre arranged party zoom at Saturday 5pm... he opened presents and wore them (lots of 1970s T-shirt's) whilst we joined in chatting rubbish!

It's not as good as a party but it ain't bad

Thanks Sparticuscaticus I hadn't thought of stuff like balloons but would make it feel more party-ish

could you arrange to have champagne (if they drink) with a nice takeaway and balloons delivered to them?

Could you have a little tributes style section where you ask people to prepare in advance a little reading that reminds them of or memory about the couple, and then work round each speaker on Zoom? Bit like speeches at a wedding.

Getting some nice fizz to them is a good plan. Will ask around everyone on speeches / reading idea.
