Hope you are all keeping well

How early do I need to start the change of school process? We are in the process of moving from Kent to Cornwall. We have an offer accepted.

I haven't moved for a while but when my eldest ds was in primary school we moved 3 times. You need to look at the primary schools (or secondary) in your new catchment area, do a bit of research and see which ones you like. Then just ring them and ask if there are any places available. You also need to ring the local council/LEA who will advise what places are available.
This may have changed recently I guess but that's all I did. I didn't always get the nearest school to where I was moving to as it's often a cases of just filling places that have been left vacant by another pupil moving.
