Tell me something positive that you are looking forward to Smile.

Short term, I am looking forward to going for a run after work, because we have been isolating since Saturday awaiting a covid-test result that came back negative.

Mid-term .... well, I'm looking for inspiration really. Need to find something!

Long term I am looking forward to next summer - I have this picture in my head of being able to go to the holiday cottage we usually rent without feeling like I would need to disinfect everything before touching it, hug my friend who lives nearby, walk along the beach, get an ice-cream or fish and chips without socially distanced queuing.

Short term - we have a long weekend this weekend, and going camping on Saturday. It's also my birthday on Monday.

Medium term - we have a cottage booked in Northumberland in October and DH and I are going to a (socially distanced) beer festival in Newcastle. First night without the DCs since the start of the year.

Long term - Christmas! Maybe more normality?

I'm off to our local bookshop to choose my next read. Love a bookshop. I fancy a ghost story. On the way home I'll call into our local sandwich shop for a cheese savoury baguette.
I'm then looking forward to the DC being snuggled up in bed tonight and I'll crack open my book and relax with a hot chocolate.

Short term - having the dc home again for half term. I got so used to being with them during lock down and then summer, that I am missing them like mad!

Mid/long term - I don't know. My mental heath isn't good so I'm not great at looking too far ahead. Maybe I'll start getting better Grin

Very short-term, my dog walk this morning.

Long-term, feeling well again. It's been 6 months since my heart attack and I'm physically a different woman because of it. I'm getting better and the only way is up, but still, I really look forward to the day when I can I'm more like my old self again (I really hope this happens!).
