First day to myself in a very long time...

And I don't know what to do!

I'm off work today, DD2 has started preschool, DD1 in school, DH at work. First world problem I know but its been a very long time since it was just me, I feel a bit overwhelmed I could do anything I want, and my mind is blank.

What do you do when you get a little chunk of time to yourself?

Read a book
Catch up on some tv
Go for a walk
Go to a cafe, get a coffee and watch the world go by or read a book
Do some writing
Give myself a pedicure
I can manage lots of days by myself!!

Art exhibition followed by coffee and cake.

Exhibitions are loooovley and quiet at the moment because they're letting hardly anyone in.

Walk in the fresh air with coffee and a podcast.

Enjoy the house with no one else in it. Go back to bed with your favourite breakfast, have a really long bath with no one yelling Muuum, then potter.

I go to the gym for a couple of hours then have a long bubble bath.

Clean, gym, watch tv and drink tea and eat biscuits.

Last week I had the first hour to myself since March!! Beach walk with dogs and fish and chips for lunch!
And put pics on family group chat to flaunt it!!

Hi there all.. I hope you’re all ok?
I’m wondering if any of you are familiar with the Night-time Bunny book by Melanie Joyce and James Newman. I’m wondering what age group it’s meant for...anybody help?

This all sounds wonderful. I think i'm going to get used to this day off in the week!

Currently sat in eating lunch (and on mumsnet Grin) in the garden, i've been to Asda, returned a parcel and hung out my washing. All very unglamorous and boring but so very peaceful and quiet and none of it with a Peppa Pig soundtrack!
