Anyone else dealing with lots of anxiety causing issues?

Just venting really. I long to just escape all the things that are currently making me feel really anxious. I am really stressed at work as I feel that since the start of lockdown I have not been doing my job as well as normal due to juggling things (although that will hopefully be better now with school back). I can’t see my family (they are not in the U.K.). I am dealing with a major renovation of my house which is making me feel really stressed. I am a lone parent so everything is down to me and it just feels like too much.

It does sound like you are having a tough time. You have a lot on your plate, and not much support. If it helps, I think it is a really tough time at the moment, and even people who normally are really resilient are finding that things they normally can cope with are all just getting a bit much. I’m feeling overwhelmed a bit at the moment and I don’t have half as much going on as you -major house renovations! Stressful!

Have you got something to look forward to? A night out? A weekend away? Even a day off work where you can just slob and watch videos. I find something to look forward to and a break really helps.

Thank you BigGlasses for your kind words. I do have small things to look forward to, so I should try to focus more on that.

I hear you OP. No words other than life is fucking tough sometimes. You sound like you’re doing great. House renovation sounds exciting if exhausting xx
