If you've had Covid...

Or think you've had Covid, what were your initial symptoms and how did they progress? Did you get shortness of breath of the bat or later on or not at all?

Yesterday I was super tired but I have a 5 year old and 8 month old so thought it was just due to regular busy life. I even took a short nap yesterday with baby which I never do.

Today I'm again feeling really rundown, and as the day as progressed I've started to fer this weird pressure feeling in the middle of my breast bone and I'm getting really winded. Took temp and it was 38C. Feeing exhausted all lying down now trying to book a Covid test which is looking impossible so thought I'd ask here in the mean time.

I was breathless when I did exercise for about 4 days, then became tired after that. No temperature, didn't have a cough until day 6. Sounds like everyone is affected differently though. Hope you feel better soonSmile

Sounds like you'll need that test.

Do you have a DH/DP coming home soon? Or are you going to be alone with the kids?

I had it rightatthe beginning so wasn't watching for symptoms. The first time I felt ill was a sore neck and migraine, followed by intermittent fever and tiredness (initially put that down to the migraine) followed by a dry tight cough (which lasted a month) and I had dry, burning, sore eyes about 4 or 5 days in. Looking back I'd struggled with breathlessness going up the stairs to work the previous two days and had taken the lift. I caught it at work probably from a colleague who had been admitted to hospital with a chest issue and was tested for covid. We sat diagonally opposite and I sat with my back to the guy who probably brought it in as he'd returned from a skiing holiday in Italy. His girlfriend got ill but he still kept on coming to work...

I'd gone into a toilet cubicle directly after female colleague but then had also spoken to the guy at the water machine that week.
