Lunch ideas for 1 year old?

We're stuck in a sandwich, veg sticks and cheese cube rut. Dd1 has just started school so I don't need to do her lunch anymore, but dd2 is at home with me for the foreseeable future.

What can I give her for lunch? I don't mind hot ideas as dd1 will be having a hot lunch I might get away with a cold/snacky tea in the evenings. But ideas for both hot and cold would be greatly appreciated! What do your 1 year olds eat?

Jenny Maizels wrote a book called finger food which I used a lot. Loads of good ideas and I still cook things from it 14 years later!

At that age we had scrambled eggs on toast, pasta and sauce, fish fingers and waffles, wraps with whatever we had in the fridge, jacket pots with tuna/cheese/beans

Whatever I also ate. I don't cook twice and at that age DD ate most foods we had. If we really fancied something unsuitable she would get pasta most times.

Mine has thinks like cheese and crackers, beans on toast, pasta and sauce, sandwiches, scrambled egg, omelette, jacket potato etc.
He doesn’t have what I have because he eats lunch at 11.30 before his nap and I don’t want mine at that time (I have a more leisurely lunch while he’s napping!).

I would give whatever I was having but other ideas that my DS enjoyed are omelettes, cheese on toast (with a smear of tomato paste), hummus on toast or failing those some leftovers from dinner the night before
