Periods when breastfeeding

what are you experiences of this? My son was born in November. I had my first period in April, was then 5 and a half weeks until the next one, then three and a half weeks, then four and a half weeks, will be 5 weeks now (if it comes again!) So irregular!

I don't really mind just find it odd. My son is slowly dropping feeds more and more I suppose but very slowly if anything. Anyone know why it goes so odd?

I had no periods after my first dc then discovered I was pregnant with my second dc just before she was a year old!

It took quite a long time for me to get regular periods after dc2, certainly more than a year.

I stopped breastfeeding 3 months ago when my son was 3 years old. I’ve still not had any ? I’m very confused by it all. There is no chance I’m pregnat😂
