On my period going to start on cerelle pill

Hi

I have just started my period
I have had a break from my contraceptive pill cerelle - progesterone only for 4 months
Going to start taking it from tomorrow
Will it stop my current period ?

Maybe, maybe not. Hormones are funny and give unpredictable results

I started on day 1 of my period and my period stopped completely that day
