How busy was your town centre yesterday?

I need some clothes! Am I mad to go in today - will it be heaving? We are very rural so I can’t tell - no traffic to observe! I know I could by online but I cba with the hassle of reposting.

I think the tip is to go early or late.

We were in our local town for 9, a few people about but not too busy

Leeds was empty yesterday morning

Very quiet - north west, just outside manchester - but then again we have very few decent shops nowadays

Absolutely heaving here, never seen it so busy! I do live in a tourist destination though and it's like the height of summer, crowds and crowds of people everywhere.

Well, I went and it was very quiet!

I am on the Wirral and l go at 9 and lm usually finished by 945 if l have to go.

I haven’t been to town since February so I don’t know.

It was awful at 11am. I had to whizz in to get emergency earring butterflies for DD. I took the fastest route to the shop and got put as fast as I could.

I don't know, I haven't been there. London's always generally busy though

Busy, but not far less busy than it has known to have been on a sunny Saturday in late summer. There was no queueing to go into shops.

It was busy going into town yesterday but there are a lot of roadworks. I don't know about town itself because we only went to Halfords.
