Sinus pain

I've been a bit sniffly for a few days but nothing major. Since Thursday I've had sinus pain on one side which has continually worsened. I have tried paracetamol and heat but I can't get any relief. Any recommendations for things that might help?

Menthol crystals in a bowl of steaming hot water. Put your head over them and a towel over your head to trap the steam.
Facial massage where you rub your forehead, nose and cheeks to help loosen any mucus.
Otrivine nasal spray to help with congestion.
Avoid dairy and oranges as they are mucus producing.
See the doctor for antibiotics.

You could also use a saline nasal wash (a netti pot?) and Can get these from the pharmacist but I’ve never tried one.

Sinus pain is terrible so you have my sympathies.

Something with codeine in it is the only thing that touches my sinus pain.
Solpadeine is paracetamol and codeine, Nurofen Plus is ibuprofen and codeine.
Both can be brought over the counter.
I find the Nurofen Plus better as ibuprofen is an anti inflammatory but I sometimes alternate when it’s really bad.
Obviously don’t take them both at once and you need to leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Sinus pain is the worst, hope you feel better soon op

Buy sinutab from chemist.
I’ve had years of sinus issues and tbh it was the only tablet that ever worked within an hour or so.
