Mine was a while back at work. I needed to send an email to a doctor who was doing a study on sleep apnea regarding the costs he was incurring for forecasting etc- my email read

Dear Dr.X, could you please send me a list of the patients you are currently sleeping with so that I can forecast the annual cost and budget accordingly

Thankfully he had a sense of humour- I still cringe when I recall this!

I have an awful doctor story that I still cringe about 20 years later. I had to refer a client to an emergency psychiatric ward after hours, the on call doctor who was Chinese rang me for information:

Has patient been to chippy?
-Er yes, he went to the chippy earlier
Which chippy he go to?
-His normal one on road
And what he take from chippy?
-A smoked sausage and chips

After five minutes of confusion I realised the doctor was asking about the GP not the chippy

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 that made me laugh out loud!!

Had an enquiry from a potential customer who wanted to arrange for our rep to go and see him.

'What's the name of your company please?' 'xxx'
'And can I have your name please?' 'Hiscock'
'OK, I'll ask him to call and make an appointment with you'

Customer then asks what the reps name is and I respond that I'm not sure which area he is in and I will let him know.

I did know the name of the rep but could not bring myself to tell Mr Hiscock that the name of the rep was Mr Mycock.

30 years ago and still makes me smile.

Reality what are the chances!!😂😂
