Bleeding after coil

Anybody any experiences of bleeding after copper coil insertion. Been bleeding for weeks now

Yes me too! Inserted on 13th Aug and it might have stopped today.......

Hmm not good is it. Did it gradually tail off if you don't mind me asking?

It trailed off for me after a few months but I always had heavy periods after that.

Not sure I can stand a few months of this

My second coil caused bleeding/spotting for around a month until I had my next period then settled.
Now I have 1 or 2 days spotting, 1heavy day then I'm done; much better than I've ever been.
The first coil I had I don't remember having any initial bleeding outside of period
Give it time I wouldn't go back to anything else now

I had a mirena cool and I had spotting for three weeks out of four. Kept waiting for it to settle down until I realised I’d been waiting for four and a half years. Had it removed in the end.

Will get it another month.

I had this but unfortunately for me It never really went away and after 12 months of near constant bleeding it was removed. Once removed the bleeding stopped. I know that's not the experience for most, just keep an eye and if it doesnt settle soon speak to your gp for some advice.
