Keeping up with the workload

Just need a bit of a rant really, I don't think there are any clear solutions other than to employ a cleaner...

3 dcs of various ages including a pre-schooler at home with me. I am trying to get an on-line business off the ground (to start next year) and spending approximately 2 hours a day (largely when pre-schooler naps working on this.) The rest of the day is spent looking after pre-schooler before naps, odd jobs such as the dishwasher/load of washing then school runs (2 different ones because I don't want eldest ds getting on the bus re. covid, involves a car journey.)

My dh does his bit and works full-time, he takes on the cooking whereas I take on the cleaning/washing.

Whilst dcs were off school during lockdown, there just seemed to be a lot more quality time, even though we were home schooling. So for example this weekend, I need to wash school uniform to a schedule, then iron bits of it (not all, I probably spend about half an hour). The day is condensed into routine and whereas most people seem to love it, I just feel overwhelmed. Now that middle dc is at school, there is no-one to play with younger brother - and most of the pre-school groups have closed, pre-schooler due to start pre-school next year. So I take them out and spend time, it is middle dc that seems to miss out because come the weekend, I am washing, ironing, cleaning through most of one day. There just doesn't feel like there is enough of me to go around (no extended family on doorstep to help out).

It is probably a bit crazy trying to start my on-line business right now, but I feel it keeps me sane (uses my mental energy), so reluctant to let it go. I have a temporary health issue which is causing fatigue and might rumble on for a while, this certainly doesn't help but other than tiredness, I am not restricted physically.

Just wanted to have a moan. Am I the only one finding the back to school thing a drain? Just off to clean the bathroom...
