FM fragrances?

I know it’s a MLM and I usually avoid like the plague but does anyone have any reviews of FM fragrances?

I just can’t justify buying perfume anymore. I must admit I had relatively expensive taste before (favs were Jimmy Choo, Flowerbomb, Coco Madmoiselle) but I didn’t wear often enough for it to be an issue. Have run out of all of them and I just don’t want to spend £60+.

Smells like the real deal, has the staying power of about half an hour. You end up so much you may as well just have bought the real stuff in the first place.

Try M&S and Next own brand, there are some brilliant dupes as well as original scents.

TheSpottedZebra · 11/09/2020 22:43

Is it perfume parlour that has dupes, and is not an mlm ?
And there's one in Lidl that is really like the Coco Mademoiselle -iirc it's Suddenly Madame Glamour.

Have a school mum friend claiming that it's a good idea to join FM and by December you would of made £840 for Xmas, is that true ??? She is a FM rep

Luzina · 11/09/2020 22:46

MLM - the only way to make money is to recruit people to your ‘team’.

Gertie75 · 11/09/2020 22:46

I've got a couple and like a pp said they wear off very quickly.

girlcrushonvillanelle · 12/09/2020 07:10

I have a friend on FB who is a FM rep! I've had a mute her as she became so irritating.

The final straw was when she did a 'sell 24 fragrances in 24 hours' - 72 hours later she was still on target with only 4 more left to go.

Brogues · 12/09/2020 07:51

Feel unique do a sample size pick and mix for £2.95 so you could get 5 samples (usually those mini sprays but occasionally 5ml sizes) of fragrance. They had a Tom Ford on last week and Miller Harris last month. It’s not a subscription but you can only get one a month. m.feelunique.com/pick-n-mix/?type=5

Forgot to say they have Flowerbomb Nectar and Jimmy Choo Fever.

girlcrushonvillanelle · 12/09/2020 08:21

Brogues thanks!! I've just ordered some samples.

I like to treat myself with nice perfume but we don't really have any decent department stores where I live so I can't go and test them.

wishywashywoowoo70 · 12/09/2020 08:34

I've bought a few and I think they're pretty good.

The men's PR million is lush on DH
I've had a few nice ones for myself too.
The last just fine and it's a good way to experiment. I've worn the same perfume forever.

One of my mates started selling it and I've had to unfollow her on SM because the posts are so cringe.

Sheknowsaboutme · 12/09/2020 08:36

My nail tech is selling them so i bought one for £15. Got the Alien one and to begin with its smells very chemically. You can smell Alien afterwards and uts quite strong.

At the end of the day I can smell it on my clothes. Id buy again,

I also but Next Nude and Flowers

Brogues · 12/09/2020 09:49

@girlcrushonvillanelle yay Grin

@NameChange110920 it may be too late but some brands of empty perfume bottles can sell well on eBay so you might be able to raise a bit if cash to put towards a purchase.

Norma27 · 12/09/2020 10:17

FM is an awful MLM. They have been really predatory during this pandemic. I wouldn't hurt be a penny of my money to any company which uses this unethical business model.
Apparently the perfume is terrible anyway. Don't waste your money.

NameChange110920 · 12/09/2020 10:38

@Brogues thank you! This will do me fine tbh. WFH and 99% of my free time is toddler activities, no perfume required. But on the odd occasion I get some adult time, I’d like to smell nice doing it 😉

Thanks for the tips re Next/M&S/Lidl, those are in a better price range to be asking for Christmas presents so maybe I’ll do that. May have to venture into the big scary world to test some.

Thanks all - great alternatives without having to resort to engaging with an MLM bossbabe.

@summersounds don’t touch with a barge pole, 99% of MLM reps don’t make any money. Statistically, you have more chance of winning the lottery than turning a profit.
