Amazon returns QR code

Please help... I'm a complete technodummy but today I think I've outdummied myself.

I received a faulty Amazon item today and need to return. I don't have a printer, so the only options were scanning a QR code and having the label printed in the Hermes shop. Well, I've followed the instructions to scan the QR on my Iphone, but I'm utterly stuck. I hold my phone up to the QR, it seems to recognize the QR and a notification pops up but the notification is "Search web in Safari" and a Dunfermline address. If I click on that, a Google page of various web searches about Amazon appears.

What on earth am I doing wrong?

Take a screenshot of the QR code and it’ll be scanned off your phone when you bring the parcel to Hermes and then they can print out the label.

As simple as that, eh? Thanks so much!
