Does click and collect benefit the shop you collect it from?

Planning to order some clothes. The shop has a branch in my local high street, but doesn't have what I want in stock.
If I choose click and collect, will my high street shop benefit?
I don't mind walking into town to pick it up if so, and do my bit to support my local shopping area, but it would be easier to have it delivered to the door if it doesn't make any difference.

I imagine they get some sort of handling fee.

I work in retail. For our store, the click and collect numbers do get added into the stores figures. It just takes slightly longer to be included.
