What's you favourite beige meal?

I usually cook from scratch everyday and have spare meals in the freezer, but today I took a notion to buy convenience food and bought chicken bites, waffles and beans. Oh.my.god....it was amazing! I haven't eaten something like that in years and I can't believe what I have missed. There was something so comforting about the waffles in particular, I was getting throwbacks to the advert I used to hear on TV as a child.

Please hit me up with inspiration for my next one.

Home made macaroni cheese. Especially when I've got a load of cheese in the fridge to use up...

I do love chips and rice with anything!

How about chips, fish cake mushy peas and tartar sauce.

Penne pasta drizzled in olive oil, with a chopped clove of garlic and some dried basil mixed in. Too with grated cheese

I haven’t had this for so long but this thread has awakened the memory of the glory that is M&S chicken goujons, with mash potato and tinned plum tomatoes, with tons of white pepper and vinegar on the tomatoes. When you cut into the tomatoes the juice would run into the mash, delicious!
I appreciate it isn’t technically beige but I feel it fits into a close category!

Chicken risotto

Marks’ Deep South Chicken tenders in crusty baguette with grated cheese.

White rice cooked with a chicken stock cube, then mixed with cream and lots of cheese.

I am doing keto at the moment.

Chicken dippers, garlic wedges, onion rings, garlic breaded mushrooms and a slice or three of garlic bread. Ketchup, BBQ sauce and garlic mayo to dip it all in. If I want to pretend it is healthy I will add a corn on the cob dripping in butter.

It's known in our household as "dippy dinner" and is served without fail on the 29th December every year. Variations on the theme also come into play when I need to clear odds and sods out of the freezer.

Omg I'm 8 weeks pregnant and this thread is making me soooo hungry as I'm literally just eating beige food at the moment. Would eat everything on this thread 😂

I haven't had these in a long time as I got diagnosed with celiac a couple of years ago. But my ultimate ones were curry super noodles in a sandwich, pasta with HP brown sauce and chilli sensations dipped into beef and tomato pot noodle.

Ive tried it with various gluten free noodles and bread but it doesn't quite hit the spot like it did.

I like dipping chicken nuggets in mayonnaise.

I also like breaded cod and chips and put salad cream on the fish.

Spaghetti carbonara is beige and delicious.

Ham, egg and chips.

Egg, chips and beans. Or chicken Kiev and chips. If I can't be bothered to make chips, potato waffles from the freezer.

Used to be Mushroom and White Wine Pasta n Sauce and then they discontinued it. Hangovers have never been the same...
