Hi, if you do live in this area, could you please tell me what's around that I might be missing… I just moved into the area, and I'm just wondering what's there that I haven't come across… What shops are there, what is there to do? I'm just having a bit of a… Difficult time in the moment and I just need some reassurance. Are there local groups that I could possibly join like a women's Institute or something? By the way, I'm physically impaired, so I might miss things that are obvious to other people.

I do know about the college, I know about the Costa and the shops right cross from the station. I haven't found any of the supermarkets or anything else yet. I remember that Beaufort park with nearby… But that's about it…

I also heard something about a Korean school? Is that for adults as well? I love languages, so that's why am asking.

I don't live there, but know the area a little.
There are a big Asda and Morrisons on the main Edgware Rd, or a little Sainsbury's near the RAF museum.

Lots of shops at Brent Cross. You can walk from Brent Cross tube, there are footpaths under the flyovers. Or bus will take you straight there.

Hi Lego, I wanted to walk there the other day, to Brent cross I mean from the tube station, and a taxi driver said it was too dangerous… And you had to walk very close to the road? Is that true?

To get to the main Edgeware Road, do you need to go to Ed's wheel station? Then can you walk to the asda?

No to walk to Brent Cross from the tube you are on lots of pedestrian walkways under the North Circular etc, you don't walk along the main road or anything.
