I know it includes small children, but would a twelve week old baby count as one of the six? Can't seem to see anything online saying one way or another.

Unfortunately so , Scotland’s take on it is much more workable as under twelves don’t have to be counted but in England it’s six humans total !

If a 12 week old baby was the 7th person present, I'd ignore it. Baby is of negligable risk to anyone else especially if they spend their time in a pram or their parents' arms. Baby is hardly going to be arrested.

If you are in England, then yes. They fall under the definition of "people" so are included.

So glad under 12s not counted, literally paid off my holiday cottage to go and visit my sister in Aberdeen when the news came this afternoon I was quite upset as having worked in community nursing all through this I was really looking forward to the break to see my sister and little neice. We are family of 5 and them a family of 3 so would have been buggered had it been the same
