My colleague vaguely remembers a film. 80s or 90s.

A man and his wife drive off a cliff in a red car at night. The man is injured and needs plastic surgery. His wife nurses him back to health, but then it turns out it’s actually a different man.

Her original husband was a real twunt - affairs, etc - and it turned out he was driving the car off the cliff to kill her. (My colleague thinks!)

Any ideas??!
