Brief outline. Elderly parent admitted to hospital after bad fall for surgery. Told went down at 2.00 and to phone at 5.00. Knowing they're busy phoned at 5.30 and told they're on way up from recovery phone at 7.00 and they'll let me speak to them briefly. Phoned at 7.30 to be told no they're still in surgery it was a mistake on our part we were talking about another patient Phone back in an hour.
Roll on 9.00 and no one seemed to know where she was could be in surgery still or could be in recovery they were too busy to call recovery, phone back!
Well I've been trying from 11.00 ish and now no one is answering phone.
I completely understand its all a shit show at the moment but this is seeming bizarre. They were just like well mistakes happen with information at times 🥴. Spent several hours settled thinking she was through it and now I'm stressed as hell again.
If I disappear or don't make sense please excuse me this is my second night with no sleep and it's getting me. First time ever I've wished I had a sibling to share the load with.
