We have the basic stuff, from as my DD has an older brother ... but we were out more, damn Covid, so I'm happy to buy a few extra thing to try to keep DD entertained. It's her 1st birthday coming up next month. Her favourite activity is currently clinging on my leg. So hopefully be toddling soon. She seems to like noisy stuff any suggestions please ?

We got ours a fisher price corn popper and a vtech baby laptop. He seems to enjoy them although he had no clue that it was his birthday.

My DD is 1 next week. She has (not all from us!):

Scuttlebug
4 wooden toys from Lidl (recent bargain special)
Several board books
Wooden blocks
Megabloks
A doll (God knows what sort-FIL announced he has bought one and he has form for inappropriate. It’s probably a gollywog Hmm)
Sand and water table (which we will use without sand for now as DD loves water play and will eat sand).
Money - which will go towards a Swing/Slide/Climbing frame next year
Grimms rainbow

Her favourite current toys are Grapat Nins, Rings ad Mates so I really recommend those. I’ll get her some more Grapat and Grimms at Christmas plus an Ikea kitchen.

My DS is 1 this month and we/family have got him a kitchen, a doll, a vacuum cleaner, a brush/mop/ sponge cleaning set thing, books and a tool workbench. Things he already has that he likes are a pull along crocodile, cars to push along and anything to do with water so a water table etc. We have also got him a white board/blackboard easel for Christmas.

Great thanks and sorry I name changed and can't be bothered to change back ... I feel we have a look of these covered, but click clack track is an idea we don't have, and not seen the Grapat before, although have some similar wooden little figures. I have steering wheel that goes on the pushchair in the garage must find that ! Genius!

Which style was the laptop - @pudseypie ? They seem to do a few

Might get a grimms rainbow or something similar, as I don't know if I've had enough of rainbows now 😂
