DD has grown out of her clothes... Again. She's 146cm tall, and skinny. She's just long everywhere.

She needs t shirts. The shops I've looked at so far seem to go from small child straight to mini teenager. She likes bright colours and fun designs. Bonus points if it includes owls, flamingos or Harry Potter. She's a bit fed up with unicorns.

It's everyday, playing in the garden/woods clothes she needs. So not too expensive. Not too bothered about stuff being in the boys section (except they end up being rather baggy!). She has no interest in 'fashion' or make up etc yet.

Where do you shop for your older Primary kids please?

Morrissons do some nice stuff

Next.
Occasionally seen some nice stuff from lands End in the sale.
H&M (although haven't looked yet this year)

Primark have HP stuff.

My dd is 8 and I shop in H&M, Next and Tu at Sainsburies. My ds is 10 and looking at the girls in his year it seems to be mostly adidas and river island.

Marks and Spencers have nice stuff - and their sale has just started today. Gap is good too and always have huge discounts.

Primark, they have fun clothes and do really small adult sizes which may fit your daughter without looking silly.

DD 9 likes Peacocks, Primark and the New Look 9-15 range.

mylittleyumyum · 09/09/2020 13:18

Matalan and Asda for kicking about clothes.

I have a nearly 9 year old dd like that! I but her clothes from all the places mentioned above, but often from the boys’ section. She has no interest in dresses and skirts!

Thanks for the suggestions. Ideally we have to buy online since we don't having any proper clothes shops near here (and I'm not really keen on the idea of a big shopping centre at the moment, even if it wasn't a 90 mom drive).

@BikeRunSki she prefers dresses in the summer as she has problems getting trousers to fit. She needs 11-12 for length.
