CAFCASS Please Help

my sister has her interview tomorrow as her abusive rapist ex wants full custody.
She is so scared and I dont know how to help her.

He tells her his interview was great and they agree with him that she is emotionally abusing the children. He tells her CAFCASS say he has a strong case for full custody.

Would they really tell him this?

No. Absolutely not. He is an abusive man. She shouldn't waste her time listening to a word he says.

I can understand her panicking and not thinking clearly. The best supper tou can be is to so that clear thinking and reassure her.

Even if it were Cafcass's role to be on the side of one parent (which it isn't) is it even logical they would make that choice after hearing only one side of the story? No.

Cafcass have lots of info available about their role and purpose.

And another way to spot the bullshit. His use of the word 'custody'. There is no such thing any more.

He’s screwing with her head and telling her lies to freak her out as it’s in his best interests and he’s a bad person.

He will have been told by his lawyer that it’s unlikely he will get full custody of dc.

So he’s thinking his last chance to get them is probably to mess her head up so she comes across as a right idiot.

He’s a manipulator. He won’t be the first they have seen it indeed the last. They will see through his pish.

Tell her not to worry. His lies prove he knows he’s on thin ice. She’ll be just fine.

He's lying big time. Still trying to assert control. I hope things work out in your favour.

I have zero experience of this and although I have said hes lying I was not 100% sure.
