Cheewinsukamphai

It was the surname of the first person I booked when I was a travel agent over 30 years ago

I had fun spelling that out in the phonetic alphabet to BA reservations....

Runnicles

Bagilhole

I’m loving Mr Brownjobs too!

I onece saw an online picture of a gravestone bearing the name of 'Turleigh Curd' - unusual first and surnames as well as a hilarious spoonerism - it looked real, but it might have been mocked up.

Also, we’re used to it now, but I still snigger when I see headlines about the US President – things such as ‘Trump blasts at journalists’ and ‘Trump divides the house’ Grin

There's a London surgeon called Bellringer - a urologist.

Would be even funnier still if there was an extra ‘w’ in the middle – specialist in helping gentlemen with tube blockage issues Grin

At my old job I sent a survey out to a Mr Dick Seamen, I couldn’t believe it so I googled him and he was legit!

Sunshine
And Bottom.
Always though that whilst Sunshine is a lovely name, you'd feel so much pressure to be happy all the bloody time!

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 08/09/2020 11:01

Winkel.
Only made worse by the fact his first name is Bent.
Mr Bent Winkel.
Both totally normal names in the Netherlands.

JunoJigglewick · 08/09/2020 11:15

Also worked with a Sidebottom.

Yes I did laugh. He was very good about it. He also laughed at my name (not sharing) so we were even.

Oriflamme · 08/09/2020 11:21

Phizackerley is one of my favourite unusual names - it sounds like it should belong to a magician.

I once taught a group of students that included a Willey and a Wanklin. I secretly hoped they'd get married and double-barrel their names!

I have a friend whose surname is Crump, and DS's friend is a Gathergood, which I love.

Toss up between Woodcock and hornyblow 🤔

I also used to know an 'Annette Curtan' which always made me snigger.

Oh and the pig family.

It's Pigg - I know this, it was my maiden name. I loved it, it was unusual and it sorted out the idiots from the normal people. Yes, "Oh, you don't look like a pig" twat, I'm thinking of you.
Fernie6491 · 08/09/2020 11:49

Working for the NHS many, many years ago I encountered Fanny Tart.

DrDetriment · 08/09/2020 11:49

Seiditta (Italian, excuse my spelling) and Seisdedos (Spanish), both mean 'six fingers'. I taught a Spanish Monica Sixfingers.
