What’s the best shop bought Apple sauce ?

I‘ve always found good old Colman’s fine, but did make some the other day, with one massive Bramley and a Granny Smith’s. Only because I happened to have them, wouldn’t usually bother. Can’t honestly say it was that much better.

Honestly we just get the Asda own. Tastes exactly the same as any other bought sauce. I do prefer home made though - I don’t add sugar coz I like the tang. Husband prefers sweeter.

Colman's here or Tesco's own brand, I don't like the ASDA one as there are too many chunks of apple in it making it less of a sauce

Morrisons Extra Special (or whatever the premium one is). I always used to make my own but this is just as good

As an aside, I love a good pig roast but they always spoil it with chilled apple sauce

I like Stokes best because it is chunky, and imo bit less sweet..
