Mop with folding handle?

I’ve got a tiny under stairs cupboard that nothing seems to fit into but I’d like to hide the mop and bucket in there if I can.

Does anyone know of a folding or telescopic mop ie: I can shrink down the handle to a short stick?!

Can’t seem to find anything online - gap in the market maybe?! Grin

I use flash speedmop, folds down easily.

Thanks Susi. I’d prefer to get one where I don’t have to buy specific refills, just in case I can’t get hold of them, but at least it would fit!

I have a Vileda with telescopic handle

I think Sainsbury's do the same one

They can be pricey and awkward to get hold of. I buy the cheap Aldi Anti bac floor wipes and use zoflora if I can’t get the flash ones. I think the Aldi ones are 60p, just use 2 if they are a bit thin.
I don’t have much floor to cover though and don’t wear shoes in the house. Depends if you really want to lean in and scrub anything stubborn. Not sure a wipe would be strong enough.

I asked DS to collect one from Tesco (where he works!) but he didn't want to carry it to his car so he bought a vileda mop and bucket delivered from Amazon.
£30.
I shit you not £30 for a mop and bucket.
£30!!!

TheQueef I’m with you... £30 seems ludicrous. Hardly an object of joy Grin
Don’t suppose you know which one you have, that folds? Some of the Vileda ones seem to fold/come apart, others don’t...

Have you considered a robot mop ? They are not cheep but do fit into very small spaces and do the work for you. .
Eufy do one ( or more ) I have the vac and I love it , seriously considering a mop one too .

Lakeland do several options with telescopic handles, heads that fold flat (so take up no space) and reusable microfibre pads, which I use with Method floor cleaner.
