Is this a mole or a skin tag? (Photo attached).

I want to try to get rid of it by tying a piece of cotton around it. It's on my side, and I dislike how unsightly and large it is. Is it safe to do that, and it is a skin tag and not a mole isn't it?

I'm pretty certain that's a mole. I would not try to remove it yourself.

Doesn't look like any of my skin tags (which are skin coloured). Has it always been there?
DP had a similar thing checked recently and was told it was a wart.

Definitely a mole. Skin tags are skin coloured I thought?

Looks like a seborrheic wart to me! I had one removed earlier this year. It was a really quick and simple procedure done at my doctors.
