Has anyone ever used one of these subscription boxes. Seen lots of reviews for hunt a killer but can't seem to get them in the uk without paying a fortune in postage

Dh and I love escape rooms and mysteries etc

Any experiences

Thanks

I've had subscriptions to both Chilling Screams and Empty Faces (the paranaormal subscription made by the same people as Hunt a Killer).

Empty Faces seemed to have a lot more content and things to do/solve per box compared to Chilling Screams which seemed to spread the story out over the length of the story more. EF also had more of a starting point where Chilling Screams is a little more challenging. Also Chilling Screams is more is it?/isn't it? a paranormal occurance rather than solving a crime.

In the end though they were both just too expensive for what they were for me. I realised i could be buying a board game in the same vein every month or two with replay potential.

However, both subscriptions were fun and if money wasn't an issue at all I would be quite happy to subscribe to either Hunt a Killer or Chilling Screams.

Played Chilling Screams and it takes up a bit of your time but was not scary. I think it looked too commercial like. Also received Mysterious Mails 'A Most peculiar package' and found it very immersive, still asking myself if it's real or not.

Think twice about subscribing to Chilling Screams....it's a subscription trap wherein they continue to charge you hundreds of pounds unless you remember to cancel through a very specific link on their site after 6 months. After going back and forth with them, they still swindled me out of money and I've had to take it up with my credit card provider.
