He doesn’t snore!!

My dp fell asleep watching tv downstairs tonight, snoring ridiculously, so I decided to leave him and come upstairs to watch a film in bed and fall asleep before he comes up and snores next to me. If I had nudged him downstairs he would have pointed out he wasn’t even asleep and be snoring 20 seconds later.

As soon as I picked a film and got comfortable with a hot chocolate he came up and got in bed, I couldn’t help but sigh because I knew he was about to snore over Bridget Jones! He asked what was wrong and I said I came up to watch a film and relax but now I either need to get back up or not be able to hear it.

He dramatically stormed off shouting back that he doesn’t even snore 🤭 in the past when he’s claimed this I’ve asked him to look under the bed to see if there’s a sleeping burglar, this didn’t seem the time.

He is currently downstairs on the sofa in my mermaid blanket ..... and I can hear him snoring through the floor. Can I ask, is suffocating him the easiest way to deal with the issue or an axe to the throat?

Just record him and play it back when he wakes up

Deffo record. Mine did not believe me until DS and I recorded him and played it back.

Oh and if you watch on a tablet phone get some ear buds that does drown out the noise I find.

I have in the past and at first he thought it was me putting it on because the video was dark. The second time he said it must have been a one off because he had had a drink and his neck was at an angle. I’m hoping he doesn’t creep back up to bed because I’ve arranged myself into a lovely starfish position that I’ve no desire to move from

Record him with your torch on then

As others have said record such episodes. However apart from the vocal inconvenience there may be some underlying medical issues to get appropriate professional advice on. I am (as a non medical lay person) guessing that there may be obstructive sleep apnea issues with blockage of upper airways, low oxygen saturation and general associated health issues. So not only is there possibly self denial but some medical concerns to get diagnosed and treated. Good luck!
