My Aunt turns 90 at the start of November. She is completely compos mentis and we would like to do something to celebrate her birthday, but with the current Covid situation it’s quite hard to think of something to plan. Pre covid we were having a party but now that won’t work. She lives in a warden assisted flat and whilst they are allowed visitors everyone so far has been visiting by sitting outside the back door in the garden and not entering the building. Even most of the other residents have gone along with this too so thankfully the accommodation has so far remained covid free. She does meet up with friends regularly but apart from arranging a tea for them to have together (a group of 6), I think any more people would be contravening the rules as well as at their age (everyone is a similar age) we think it would be too risky for them to have a party.
We are after some ingenious ideas to celebrate with her. Can anyone help please?
