She was 9 in April. She got a Nintendo game, Lego, a stack of books (David Walliams, Jacqueline Wilson, Tom Gates, Amelia Fang, The Girl Who Speaks Bear, Charlotte's Web ), an ipod (I wanted to get her something to play music on and DH said an ipod was the thing, but I hadn't realised it could access the whole internet and she uses it to watch youtube videos of people playing minecraft all the time, I really wish we hadn't got that), a smart sketcher.
She likes books, Harry Potter, Lego, stationery, Sylvanian Families but they are her younger sister's, Minecraft, other Nintendo switch games, cuddly toys, Marvel. I bought the board game Labyrinth last Christmas, but she rarely plays it but 5 year old DD2 and I enjoy it. She also got the VTech secret diary last Christmas which she loved for a while but I haven't seen or heard of it for ages.
Books: I recently bought the A Place Called Perfect trilogy by Helena Duggan, which she is really enjoying. The first one was only a couple of pounds when I was browsing Amazon one day, but the other 2 were more expensive.
