Want to bring on a hospital visit

Am going to see a friend who is in hospital long term (has already been in for 18 weeks).

As far as I know, not really anyone has gone to see them. And am wondering what I can take with me to give them

I would check what is allowed before planning anything.
People haven't been allowed visitors, and patients haven't been allowed even their own mobile phones, so , even if rules are relaxing a little I suspect the still won't be wanting much "stuff" brought into that environment.

Putting what is allowed to one side, i would appreciate:-
A book, puzzle book, colouring book and pecils in case.

Hand cream

Some nice snacks/ sweets

Decent biscuits

@BackforGood good point. I have to call to book the visit anyway so will ask. It’s not an nhs hospital so no idea what the criteria etc is.

A couple of books, hand cream or body lotion, nice biscuits. I hope your visit goes well.
