A man with two small children walks into his own home and by the presence of small pieces of white crap on the stairs concludes there has been an intruder.
If we don't have random crap on the stairs I conclude mil is coming over and dh has hoovered.

Yeah, if we didn’t have crap on the stairs (and dog hair everywhere else) I’d conclude we had an intruder. One who came in and tidied.

Ooh now that would be good. How does one attract one of those. They can have literally all of my knickers if they tidy - a new pack of five from m and s is much cheaper than a cleaner.

Once upon a time beige carpets were the norm. I had such carpets with 3 small children. They became a deep brown. In a fit of pique I insisted on some dark, dark grey ones. I could not be dissuaded.

They have 2 (+1000) white bits on them as soon as the hoover is out away. An intruder might possibly improve them by lifting some of the white bits up on the soles of their shoe.

I’ve had them for bloody years.

Freakishly we watched the same episode tonight and commented on the same thing! Are you my DH?!

We’ve just watched that too! He’d already been up the stairs though had he not? So he brought the stuff down.

Yea it’s the one that’s being talked about just now. I thought it was new so had to google it when I saw cars that looked ancient!
