Chilterns walking around Wendover

We'll be staying in Wendover for a couple of days, and we'd like to do some walks around Coombe Hill and Wendover Woods.

Should we bring walking boots, or do you think we can get away with trainers?

Walking boots, there's been loads of rain this week. Most places are dry, the woods would be fine in trainers but some of the tracks around Coombe hill are likely to be a bit boggy.
