My kids go back next week and I'm just thinking back to last September and how things will be different this time around. Wondered if most parents have a massively different situation this year.
Sept19 - drop kids at B'fast Club at 8am, 1 hour commute. CM Collected them at 3.15. CM feeds kids dinner. Between us, DH or I would collect from CM (after a 1hr commute home). All home for 6pm. Supper, bath, stories and bed. Dh and I eat after that.
Sept20 - walk up to school for 8.30 (no B'fast Club), walk home to WFH. Dh out at work. Walk back to school 2.30, home for 3 (staggered end times). Kids chill with a snack/tv while I go back to my laptop. Dh home 4pm (reduced days due to covid). I finish 5pm. Dinner all together at 6pm. Bath stories bed. Dh and I relax.
