Daft question - car seat/MOT

Really quick (and probably silly) question, MOT is tomorrow and I can't for the life of me remember whether I need to take the car seat out (or what I did the last two times!).

Will need to use it to drop dd off at nursery before I take the car in, please can someone tell me whether I need to make a detour home to take it out or not! Google is telling me varying different things...

Congrats on the passed MOT Grin I hope you managed to get the car seat in with relative ease!

Actually, whilst the cleaning wasn’t as fabulous as usual, it was better than when it went in.

Thanks! Feel rather proud of little car that valiantly fought to keep going another year! How sad is that. Was very very relieved.

And actually, put the seat back in in about ten seconds Grin, I think I was thinking about when I initially installed it and was utterly convinced that I had done it wrong, as it wobbles and the stupid leg wouldn't go past half red and green... (I lost two hours of my life to that...) although, she is ff now so maybe it's easier to install ff?

Awww auditangel, disappointing about the valet! At least yours looks better now! Looks like mine will have to wait another year Blush I did actually have a go at cleaning all the snack crap and dribbles of smoothie on the upholstery off before I went, a bit like tidying before the cleaner comes!

I actually don't remember if it was easier ff or not Blush I do remember having exactly the same fuss with the red/green indicator on the floor bar though. At the time, I was making a point to DH that I didn't need his help and I went out to put both seats back in the car... so I was determined not to ask for help or even look like I was struggling! I was very proud of myself after I did it, and haven't struggled since Grin

I psyched myself up for a battle with it, clicked it in, and thought 'ha, this is too easy, let's look at the pesky leg, I bet it's doing the green red thing, I'll no doubt be here hours and then can whinge and moan about my stressful day of doubtful MOT passes and shoddy car seats', yet to my disappointment, there it was, green straight away. It was quite the anticlimax Grin

Oh and when I said it was easier to install ff than rf, I KNOW that it spins so technically it shouldn't be easier either way, I just meant it seemed easier with the seat ff. Before anyone thinks I am even more of an imbecile after the initial question!
