Can you reccomend a park with a cafe between Chester and Manchester?

Meeting some friends and wanting to meet somewhere middle-ish. A park for a walk with a nice cafe (outdoor area?) for lunch is what we are looking for.

Any ideas?

I haven’t been but always hear people recommending Walton Hall and Gardens. It’s meant to be very nice

Walton Hall and Gardens or Arley Hall and Gardens

Walton halls is lovely especially if you have children with you as they have a lovely little zoo too

Thanks everyone. I have been to Walton Gardens a few times but seen no cafe. I usually go with kids though so do the park and zoo bit, is there a cafe somewhere?

Yes, there is a cafe but id check if it was open due to covid. It's on the same side as the pond, in the courtyard.
